Tyler Erickson

Tyler Erickson, 19 of Ft. Pierre, died on Sunday, August 5 as a result of an automobile accident. Memorial Services will be at 7:00pm, Friday, August 10 at Assembly of God Church with Chaplin Dodie Noordermeer officiating

Tyler was born September 2, 1992 in Pierre to Camille Erickson. He grew up in Ft. Pierre attending Stanley County Schools. As a youth Tyler enjoyed bowling and playing baseball. He received his GED in 2011 and continued to live in Ft. Pierre working for SK Ventures, Liembach Construction, Perkins and most recently WW Tire.

He will be missed by all his family and friends and the people he touched. Most will probably remember him for his loud cars and booming stereos and living life to the max. One of his best attributes was he wasn’t afraid of hard work or leading a hand, he was always there to help out. As he got older he enjoyed hanging with friends, bowling and working on his cars and car stereos.

He is survived by his mom Cami of Ft. Pierre; aunt Nikki Erickson of Brooklyn Park, MN; great-grandmothers, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers: Robert and Thomas; grandfather Randy; grandmother Katie; great-uncle John and twin 2nd cousins Max and Sam
